  • Hi Ed, Can you advise the graphics your computer is using?  Is it Radeon Graphics?
  • Can you advise if your computer has Radeon Graphics?
  • Hi Revmarkp, I had some issue when I upgraded to Win10 and did a google search.  It's not OpenLP's fault.  It's Radeon's AMD Catalyst.  Here's the fix for you. Close OpenLP Right click on your desktop Click on "Configure Switchable Graphics&qu…
  • Hi Wally, People from many parts of the world are using OpenLP and have been delightedly pleased with what this wonderful software can do for them as it has done for me and my church (and my cell group! :)). Do let us know what difficulties you ar…

  • Hi, I am exploring the option of Remote Browser now and realise that in the remote service manager view (192.168.2.186:4316), some areas are open to "public". I mean, people visiting that site, do not need to enter password for some links…
  • Hi Jan, Quite a number of us are actually using this method in our churches.  I'm using Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 both 64bit.  No issues so far.  VLC 32bit with OpenLP 2.2.1.  For my cell groups which we hold in houses, I actually bring my laptop …
  • Hi Robards, Do you use themes for Bible verses? If yes, you may want to verify in case a manual specification could have been entered/selected for the screen size on the theme. If not, you may want to try using the manual specification and play aro…
  • Hi Wanaride, To me, PC brands don't matter much as it's just the branding.  Components within like hard disk, RAM, CPU, graphics card etc, these are not brand specific.  Example, if you buy a HP or Dell etc, the RAM, harddisk, CPU is not manufactur…
  • Hi Michael, To download the Bibles: File, Import, Bible, Next, Web Download (you'll figure out from there). Note, however, that you cannot download the entire bible from there.  Verses will be cached to your machine as you perform searches.  Once …
  • Hi Wanaride, OpenLP is able to maintain controls on 1 screen while showing the congregation what they should see.  This is done fairly simply.  If you use a laptop and have an external monitor, you can simulate the external monitor to be your proje…
  • Hi Al, Yes.  Agreed as Paul suggested above. Also, I noted you mentioned you are able to get 2.1.6 running on your desktop using the old database 1.2.9. Since it is already running, please just navigate to each navigation on the left and ensure al…
  • Indeed.  A new version has been uploaded although the version still says 2.2, it has some immediate minor bugs fixed such as the VLC.  Installed it over my existing OpenLP 2.1.6 and it works great!
  • Hi Neil, I have created 2 screenshots of something you can try out to see if it works for you.  I am just guessing the tags may be incorrectly coded.  I may be wrong. http://s20.postimg.org/w48mjequ5/Pic1.jpg http://s20.postimg.org/xkk51jtr1/Pic2.j…
  • Hi James, Not sure if this will help.  Have you tried clicking on View >> Mode >> Default Please advise the version of OpenLP you're using.
  • Hi John, For the meantime until it is all integrated into OpenLP, what I do is I have VLC playing a background loop OUTSIDE of OpenLP.  That is, launch VLC manually (for Windows) from Start >> Program Files >> VideoLAN >> VLC Medi…
  • Hi Ted, Can't tell for sure if you still need help or if all is good.  But I am guessing it's not fixed yet. You can rearrange the panels by clicking and holding on the panel headers and moving them around. Panel headers such as: - Media (a.k.a. L…
  • If I am guessing correctly, you see both screens to be the same: your laptop screen and the projector screen? Depends on the laptop you are using, you should press Function (Fn) key concurrently with another function key (F3, F4, F5, F6 ..?) to EXTE…
  • Yes, just managed to test it. After installation of 2.2, under Settings >> Configure OpenLP >> Players, we are unable to select VLC and any media we currently have, are not recognised by OpenLP. Closed OLP, reinstalled VLC 2.1.2 x86 vers…
  • From the way I see it, when we select a song from the database and add it to service, we are not COPYING the whole song to the service.  It is only a LINK or shortcut from the database added to the service.  Something like Windows when you create a …
  • Hi dbridge, I am using Win7 x64 with VLC 2.2.1 & OLP 2.1.6.  I have used FLV and MP4 and so far have not encountered this issue yet on my laptop.  I am currently running it for my cell groups and will soon roll out in church.  It's going to be …
  • Hi Sebi, I am not sure if I am interpreting this correctly. You mean you have your song Title as a number or where/how do you number your songs? Have you perhaps tried "0001", "0002", "0003" etc without quotes to see i…
  • I remove the footer altogether.  Just have the song lyrics only.  To "remove" the footer I change the theme's Footer font size to 0!  Yes, footer font size zero. I was cracking my head over it almost going nuts until I tried it and it work…
